Love Caravanning
I took the family on a caravan trip last year. What it was, was, I thought we haven’t really seen much of Britain at all and this is our country, where we’ve grown up and lived all our lives. So instead of the usual trip to Spain or Florida, I thought I’d get an old caravan trip on the go. It was a mate that got the idea in me head actually – he’s got a caravan and goes on caravan holidays with his family every year. He recommended a great caravan park in Devon, got me stabilizers, book the caravan park and we were on the go!
I can’t tell you how fantastic it was to get a break from everything. Cos if you think about it, even when you go on holiday, you have access to the internet and technology in your hotel room, it’s almost like having a different home for two weeks. But this was a chance to really get on the road and escape from it all. It kind of roused different traits in us all – almost like it revived a love of the outdoors or something. And the caravan park was absolutely fantastic – beautifully situated, honestly it was a breath of fresh air. I can definitely say on behalf of the whole family, we will be going on more of them. When I get me own caravan, that is!
